Accessibility
Last updated July 2026
Metolius Health is committed to making this website usable for as many people as possible, including people who rely on assistive technology. We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA.
What we do
Accessibility is built into how this site is made, not added afterward. Ongoing measures include:
- Semantic, structured HTML with a logical heading order and landmark regions.
- A "skip to main content" link and a keyboard-operable navigation menu, including focus management for the mobile menu (focus moves into the menu on open, returns on close, and the rest of the page is inert while it is open).
- Visible focus states and support for keyboard-only navigation.
- Respect for the reduced-motion preference — animation and the background video are reduced or disabled when your system requests it, and content remains fully visible without motion or JavaScript.
- Color and contrast chosen to meet AA contrast for text, including over imagery and video.
- Text alternatives for meaningful images and decorative elements hidden from assistive technology.
Known limitations
We review the site regularly, but some content may not yet fully meet our target. [List any known limitations here, or note that none are currently known. Note whether a formal third-party accessibility audit has been completed.] If you find a barrier, please tell us — see below.
Give us feedback
If you have trouble using any part of this site, or you need information in a different format, we want to hear from you. Contact us at [accessibility contact email] or through our contact page, and describe the problem and the page you were on. We aim to respond within [response time — e.g. five business days].
Ongoing commitment
Accessibility is an ongoing effort. As we add pages and features, we test against WCAG 2.1 AA and fix issues we find. We will update this statement as our approach evolves.
